Our advanced botulinum toxin (BOTOX®) training is for medical professionals who want to expand their knowledge and use of botulinum toxin. A comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy as well as practical experience with botulinum toxin is necessary to effectively incorporate these new procedures into your practice.

Our licensed instructors have years of experience with these procedures and have mastered the techniques to perform them precisely with predictable results. This course will give you the confidence and refinement required to provide the optimal experience for your patients and perform treatments such as jaw reductions, eyebrow lifts, gummy lines, downturned mouths and more.

As well as empowering trainees to inject safely, our course also tackles every stage of the patient journey, from consultation and treatment to handling rare case complications and looking after patients in the long term.

Are you eligible?

This advanced botulinum toxin training course is designed for medical professionals with prior experience administering botulinum toxin.

Trainees should meet the following minimum requirements
  • Be a qualified medic (e.g. doctor, dentist, nurse prescriber)
  • Have at least 1 year of experience administering botulinum toxin
  • Have completed a recognised training programme in botulinum toxin (e.g. our Foundation Botulinum Toxin Course)

We also welcome cosmetic models for the hands-on component of the seminar. If you know someone who may be interested, please ask them to sign up on our modelling page.

The Course Objectives

When you book your place on the course, you’ll receive state-of-the-art pre-course content for self-supported study at home. During the in-person part of the course, we cover every aspect of performing advanced botulinum toxin treatments in your clinic.

The objectives of the course are to:
  • Review facial aesthetic ethics, legalities and guidelines
  • Explore facial ageing, anatomy and musculature
  • Understand the techniques and learn how to perform botulinum toxin treatments, including eyebrow lifts, jaw reduction, gummy smiles, downturned mouth, grinding or clenching the teeth, cobbled chin, hyperhidrosis and axillary aesthetics
  • For medics on the course, we also learn about the use of botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis of axillar and migraine treatment

9:00am Registration
9:30am Introduction and welcome to our advanced botulinum toxin training course. We discuss the objectives and aims of the course and test your understanding of the pre-course material
11:00am Comfort break
11:15am Review of practical procedures and techniques
12:30pm Lunch will be provided – please let us know if you have any dietary requirements by emailing info@callatraining.com
13:30pm Live demonstration by the course tutor and practice on a silicone head
14:00pm Practical session in small groups (two or three) with real cosmetic models
16:00pm Each trainee has a 1:1 supervised session with a cosmetic model – this is filmed
17:00pm Reconvene, review and talk about the work you have done and give feedback. The best treatment videos will be submitted as course evidence
18:00pm Final say on whether each trainee has passed the course. You’ll receive a recognised certification on successful completion of the course. Photo opportunity
